Kobe Bryant Exit Interview Part I

Steve Nash 2013 Exit Interview

Recap/Highlights from the Lakers 91 - 79 loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1.

Dwight Howard led the Lakers with 20 points and 15 rebounds, Pau Gasol behind him with 16 points and 16 boards.

Lakers ended up shooting only 41% from the floor, a horrible 66% from the free-throw line and an abysmal 20% from behind the three-point line. Defense? Not bad. Offense? Let’s just say that we really miss Kobe …

Kobe Bryant’s Clutch Shots Against the Raptors

1. Down 5, a contested 3 with 1:41 left.

2. Down 4, a fadeaway corner 3 with 29.3 seconds left.

3. Down 3, a contest 3 with 5.5 seconds left.

4. Tied at 115, drives past two defenders and dunks with 10.6 left in OT.

Kobe with a MONSTER dunk on the Brooklyn Nets. Literally.

German engineered knees ftw.

Kobe throws an alley-oop to Earl Clark with 0.4 seconds left in the second quarter.

Kobe Bryant’s first point.

Tonight was a great night for Laker fans. Even though Mike D’Antoni has yet to officially step onto the court as Lakers coach, flashes of the “Showtime” style basketball he’s promised to usher in have begun to show. Lakers are running an uptempo style and it’s been exciting to watch.

Kobe notched his 18th career triple-double tonight, and showed why he can be an elite passer. Oh, and this fellow named Dwight Howard is looking like he’s regained his bounce a bit, eh?
