Highlights from the Lakers 106 - 73 win against the Bobcats.

Kobe Bryant scored 24 points, Andrew Bynum added 20 and 11 rebounds, and the bench went crazy in the 4th quarter. At one point the Laker’s bench connected on seven consecutive 3-pointers.

After going a stretch of 13 games without cracking 100, the Lakers have now scored 100 points two games in a row.

Recap from the Lakers loss to the Bucks, 100 - 89.

Lakers now fall to 11-9, and things still don’t look much better. Teams are scoring 100, and they’re barely cracking 90. Thoughts on the game, or season so far?

Lakers (96) - Pacers (98) Recap

Six Pacers scored in double-figures and the team shot 10-18 from 3-point range en route to their tenth win and the Laker’s 3rd straight loss.

Lakers (80) Magic (92) recap.

In your opinion, what’s behind the Laker’s trouble on the road, and their recent losses?

Highlights from the Laker’s 108 - 99 victory over the Houston Rockets.

Kobe Bryant had 37 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

Andrew Bynum had the first 20/20 game of his career, putting up 21 points and 22 rebounds, along with 3 blocked shots. In his first three games he’s average 22.7 points and 17 rebounds.

The Lakers have played 7 games in 10 days, which is the most for any other team in the NBA so far, along with Oklahoma City.

Recap of the Lakers 92-89 over the Denver Nuggets.

Andrew Bynum came up big, scoring 29 points and bringing down 13 boards, and Kobe Bryant was one assist away from a triple-double (17 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists).

It was also Derek Fisher’s 500th consecutive game.

Lakers - 81, Mavs - 93

I should write a lengthy recap, but I’m one of those fans who gets extremely mad at results like this. And if I wrote what I wanted it’d be very harsh.

Like, Steve Blake, why are you even on the playoff roster right now?

Is there anyone in Los Angeles who knows how to hit a three-pointer?

Pau Gasol has convinced me that he deserves the “soft” title. And Lamar should’ve had his All-Star spot.

I must be silly to think that I can recognize when Barrea is killing them with the same pick and roll play, but the players getting paid millions can’t.

Oh God, there’s a possibility we may get swept. Keeping hope alive, yes, but still … OH GOD, WE MAY GET SWEPT.

When can we make a bid for Dwight Howard again??

Lakers - 94, Dallas - 96

What can I say? No way we should’ve given up a 16-point lead, and no way we can blame anyone but ourselves for losing. Advantage Mavs.

And OHHHH, what a great look for Kobe at the end. Thought for sure that was going in …

Lakers - 98, Hornets - 80

4 down, 12 to go.

Lakers - 106, Hornets - 90

In the words of the great gotemcoach, “fuck that ankle.”

It sure wasn’t a problem for Kobe (maybe Okafor though) and the rest of the Lakers as they handled their business at home and inched one game closer to advancing to the next step of their 3peat quest.

Kobe led the Lakers with 19 points, followed by Bynum who had 18 and 10. Pau Gasol had another good performance with 16 points and 8 rebounds, and Lamar Odom & D-Fish both contributed 13 points each.

Just two days after letting Chris Paul throw a triple-double at them, the Lakers held him in check. He only had 20 points and 12 assists (yeah, ONLY 12 assists), 8 of those coming in the first quarter.
