Pau Gasol would reportedly love to play on the Chicago Bulls, because it’s nice to aspire to great things
Just don’t expect it to actually happen. What would the Bulls give us, Boozer? Ha!
Got ‘Em Coach + LakerNation.com
I wrote a column on Tex Winter, and why he should not only be in the Hall of Fame, but how they should have put him in there three or four times this past weekend. LakerNation.com, one of the biggest Laker blogs online, posted it this afternoon.
If you’re a Lakers or Bulls fan, it’s a must read. If you really, truly love me, you’ll read it too.

Lakers - 84, Bulls - 88
Once again the Lakers were caught playing from behind in the fourth quarter. This time their late-game charge wasn’t enough to withstand Derrick Rose and the Bulls. Rose hit several huge shots late in the game and held off the Lakers.
One bright spot for the game was Kobe moving into #11 place on the all-time scoring list, passing Celtic great John Havlicek.
One big glaring problem that jumped out to me was the Lakers defense behind the 3-point line. Last year they defended the three better than anyone in the league, while this year teams have been having field days behind the arc. The Bulls went 8-17, 47% from 3-point range.
Lakers - 98, Bulls - 91
Well, Derrick Rose is still amazing.
Good thing Shannon Brown & Laker Co. is too.
Shannon, Lamar & Kobe all scored 20 points with Shannon matching his season high of 21. Derrick Rose had 30 points and kept the Bulls in the game going into the 4th quarter, but the Lakers were able to pull away with a 17-2 run.
Credit “The Renegades” who seemed to hit key 3 after 3, outscoring the Bulls bench 39-10.
